A professional who feeds chicle and gum bases into grinding machine, preparatory to making chewing gum. Respnsibilities include:

• Loads blocks of chicle or other gum bases onto conveyor of grinding machine, using electric hoist or lift truck.
• Starts machine and places empty containers under discharge spout to catch ground ingredients.
• Shovels ground material into barrels on platform scale until specified weight is obtained.
• May dump salvage gum into grinding machine and be designated Salvage Grinder.
