• Receives instructions from program director, group work or group worker prior to initiating therapeutic group activities.
• Plans program details to meet needs and interests of individual members.
• Interests participants in various activities, such as arts and crafts and dramatics.
• Demonstrates techniques for active sports, group dances, and games.
• Helps develop new skills and interests.
• May work with part-time or volunteer staff.
• Works for social service agencies, such as community center, neighborhood house, settlement house, hospital, geriatric residential center, and health care facility.
