A professional who supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in washing, silvering and painting by hand, cleaning, and inspecting glass used in manufacture of mirrors. Respnsibilities include:

• Inspects washed, silvered, and painted glass to detect faulty wash-water or chemical solutions, and uneven paint, silver, or copper coatings.
• Observes drying-oven thermometer to verify specified oven temperature.
• Weighs and measures chemical ingredients according to formula to prepare tin, silver, and copper solutions and reducing agents.
• Pours or combines chemicals in mixing tank, and transfers solution to storage tank.
• May wash, silver, paint, clean, or polish mirrors.
• Performs other duties as described under supervisor master title.
