A professional who supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cutting peeler log cores into chips, grinding chips into pulp, and pressing pulp into insulation board or hardboard. Respnsibilities include:

• Observes various processing operation and reads dials and charts to verify conformance of products to specifications.
• Inspects and tests samples of chips, mat, and hardboard for water absorption, resin and wax content, internal bond, modulus rupture, weight, and dimensions, using laboratory equipment.
• Trains and assign tasks to new workers.
• Performs other duties as described under supervisor master title.
