• Requisitions material required to meet production goals.
• Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
• Trains new workers.
• Performs other duties as described under supervisor master title.
• May be designated by department or operation as lay-out supervisor; machine-operations supervisor; metal-spinning supervisor; punch-press supervisor; roll-forming supervisor; or product produced as metal furniture fabrication supervisor.
