The goddess of mourning, rivers, sleep, nature, and night. When she became the goddess of mourning, she consequently became a protector and friend of the dead. She was the twin of Seth and sister of Osiris and Isis. Her image always stood at the head of the coffin which would take the dead to the Duat.
