A professional who tends equipment to mix grain for milling into blended flour. Respnsibilities include:

• Starts belt conveyor and adjusts valve controls on automatic feeders to regulate proportions of specified grades of grain flowing from storage tanks onto conveyor.
• Starts conveyors to transfer grain to milling department.
• May inspect grain for smut, rust, or other contamination.
• May find weight of minimum test bushel by filling standard measure with grain and recording weight.
