A library resource containing hardware specifications that can be applied to a new virtual machine or a virtual machine template. A hardware profile can contain specifications for CPU, memory, network adapters, a DVD drive, afloppy drive, COM ports, and the priority given the virtual machine when allocating resources on a virtual machine host.
