A professional who examines filled bottles of distilled liquor to detect imperfections or breaks in glass or foreign particles within bottle. Respnsibilities include:

• Removes bottle from conveyor line, places it in front of strong light, and examines it to detect imperfections in glass or foreign particles within bottle.
• Informs container washer, machine to stop machine when foreign particles are detected within bottles.
• May be designated according to type of liquor inspected as Gin Inspector; Whiskey Inspector.
