• Examines felt and points out imperfections.
• Straightens material to ensure even rewinding.
• Helps lift finished roll to wrapping machine.
• Places pipe or bar in winding rack, and starts new roll of padding.
• Helps rug inspector cut material to specified length.
• Performs other duties as described under helper master title.
