A professional who attends to costumes of members of cast of theatrical production. Respnsibilities include:

• Examines costumes and cleans and mends them.
• Presses costumes, using electric iron.
• Refits costumes as necessary.
• Assists cast to don completed costumes, or assigns dressers to assist specific cast members.
• Arranges costumes, or assigns dressers to arrange costumes of cast on dress racks in sequence to appearance on stage to facilitate quick changes.
• Packs costumes for cast when accompanying show on tour.
