A professional who supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in watch manufacture or assembly, such as hairspring manufacture, balance assembly, or dial manufacture, applying knowledge of watch manufacturing. Respnsibilities include:

• Computes labor and machine requirements based on work schedules, and assigns work accordingly.
• Sets up machines and instructs personnel in machine operation.
• Compares product with blueprint or other specifications, and makes or directs changes in setup to keep product within specified tolerances.
• Performs duties as described under supervisor master title.
• May supervise workers who are responsible for particular operation or phase of watch assembly or parts manufacture.
• May be designated according to operations supervised as watch balance assembly manufacturing supervisor; watch hairspring manufacturing supervisor; watch metal dial manufacturing supervisor.
