C₂₁H₂₁NO₆ An alkaloid isolated from species of the family Ranunculaceae and from Hydrastis canadensis; orthorhombic prisms crystallize from alcohol solution, melting point 132_C; highly soluble in acetone and benzene, soluble in chloroform, less soluble in ether and alcohol.
