RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated materials. An RSS document (which is called a "feed",) includes full or summarised text, plus metadata. An RSS feed is a source of RSS updates for a given website, such as the NOAA Coral Reef Information System (coris).
